Oven Preheat Door Locked

If your oven has an auto lock it should only engage during the self clean cycle.

Sometimes the cleaning process will take over and unlock your oven as it should when cleaning is complete. Allow the oven to cool approximately 30 90 minutes move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door. If it s still locked start an oven cleaning cycle. If that does not unlock the door run a short self clean cycle 1 2 hours. The door will also lock during the self cleaning cycle and won t unlatch until the temperature inside the oven cools to about 200 degrees fahrenheit.
